In 2025 VCCP held an internal competition, open to every office around the globe. The brief was simple - create a short film using Adobe Firefly AI video and no other AI tools bringing to life one of VCCP’s 10 founding principles - and no longer that 30 seconds. We could then use the Adobe Creative Suite to bring it to life. I harnessed my knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier and After Effects to put together my final film - Spiky Mike. Overall coming second in the competition.

I really wanted to create something which felt a little Pixar in style, in aesthetic and storyline. To also really land that little Pixar magic, I hid three of the famous Pixar easter eggs into my film too. The truck, ‘A133’ and the ball, each one uniquely regenerated within Firefly.
